Jack Owen Guyre, 81, of Salt Lake City died at his home July 30, 1994.
Born January 5, 1913 in San Bernadino, California to Robert Earl and Edna Dean Guyre. He married Irene Bills on July 30, 1938 in San Francisco, California.He worked as a salesman for Associated Food Stores for 42 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a dedicated golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; three sons and two daughters: Jack Guyre Solomon (Jeanette), New York; Patricia A. Keller (Dick), California; Robert S. Guyre (Judy), Sandy, Utah; Gloria J. Guyre, Salt Lake City; Michael D. Guyre, Salt Lake City; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Memorial services will be Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jack's golfing buddies and friends at Associated for their care, support and being there.
