A confrontation between two motorists resulted in a stabbing Monday in West Valley City when they abandoned their cars to fight.
The man, whose age and name were not available, was treated and released from Pioneer Valley Hospital Monday.The confrontation began when a vehicle cut the victim off in traffic near 1950 W. 3800 South about 6:45 a.m., West Valley police Lt. Ed Spann said. The victim continued southbound to 4700 South then turned around and went back to the site of the confrontation.
When the victim returned, the occupants in the suspect car threw bottles at him until he got out and the group fought. The man was able to give police a description of the car and its two male occupants. The incident remained under investigation Monday.
