President Clinton was recorded live last January in an impromptu performance on the saxophone in a Prague jazz club when he was visiting the Czech Republic and its president, Vaclav Havel, who presented him with a new tenor sax.
The gig was taped by Czech radio, which has already released the recording domestically. Now it is coming out in the United States, thanks to Daybreak Mail Order of New York.
"We've offered it to the Democratic National Committee and Clinton's legal defense fund as a premium for fund-raising," reported Bernard Brightman, president of Daybreak, adding that both had declined.
