The Chamber Ensemble of Utah will present two concerts this weekend. They will take place Friday, Aug. 12, at Salt Lake City's First Presbyterian Church and Saturday, Aug. 13, in the Provo Tabernacle.

Directed by Martha Sargent, the nonprofit 20-piece orchestra will be heard each night in Howard Hanson's Serenade for Flute, Harp and Orchestra, with flutist Elaine Jorgensen, and Samuel Barber's song cycle "Knoxville: Summer of 1915."Soloing in the latter will be soprano Joan Bauman, who will also perform music of Chausson, Ravel and Saint-Saens. In addition her husband, Eric Arnal, will solo in Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A major (K. 488).
