The major events of Lindon Fair Days are still ahead.

They include the karaoke singing contest tonight from 5 to 10 p.m. in the Lindon City Park, the street dance Friday on Main Street by Lindon Elementary School and a watermelon bust, children's races, a pie-eating contest, a breakfast and a parade Saturday.Shuffalo Bill will provide country crossover music for the street dance from 8 to 11:30 p.m.

The breakfast Saturday will be served 7 to 9 a.m. in the Lindon City Park and will feature scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash browns, sausage and juice for $2 a plate (12 years and older) or $10 a family.

A 5K Fun Run/Walk and children's races will start at 8 a.m., also in the park, with registration from 7 to 7:45 a.m.

The parade will head down Center Street at 10 a.m.

A free watermelon bust will follow at noon in the park, with music and entertainment starting at 11 a.m.

In addition, arts and crafts, fruits and vegetables and flowers will be on display all afternoon in the Lion's Building.

Arcade games and a food fair will be offered in the park, with the pie-eating contest at 2 p.m. Frontier Pies will supply the pies.

Singing contest finals will be 2:30 to 5 p.m. in the park.

A men's softball tournament will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with prizes for the best competitors. Call Bret Frampton to register at 785-2266. The fee is $25.
