A seminar for small-business owners, "How to Captain Your Own Ship," is set Wednesday, Sept. 28, at The Riverboat in Murray.
Scheduled keynote speaker is Bennie Thayer, president of the National Association for the Self-Employed. Topics for the conference will include trends affecting the self-employed, sales and business automation, financing small businesses, managing cash flow and record keeping.Also scheduled are an awards luncheon and "entrepreneur exchange," in which attendees promote their products and services.
