East Harker Complex fire - Crews were doing mostly rehabilitation work on fire lines in the Tooele County fires Friday after declaring the fire under control Wednesday evening. The most delicate rehabilitation work will take place in the Reilly fire area, which is in a BLM wilderness study area in southern Tooele County near the Nevada border. The three lightning-caused fires in the complex burned 12,300 acres.

Edgar fire - The fire in the upper end of Logan Canyon was controlled at 6 p.m. Thursday after burning 3,954 acres. Crews will spend several days cleaning up fire damage. CAUSE: Lightning.Black Willow Springs fire - Fire crews reached their goal of containing the 12,000-acre fire near Oak City Thursday evening and expect to have the fire controlled by Saturday evening. Rain showers since Tuesday have helped calm the Millard County fire significantly. The fire has burned 2,518 acres of BLM land, 440 acres of private land and 9,073 acres of the Fishlake National Forest.
