Two local businesses will sponsor a golf tournament to benefit Salt Lake County's Meals on Wheels program on Thursday, Aug. 25, at the soon-to-open Riverbend Golf Course, 12800 S. 1040 West, Riverton. Course opening is scheduled for Aug. 13.

The public is invited to participate in the two-man scramble, co-sponsored by Mansell and Associate's West Jordan office and Superior Title of Midvale. The tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. and cost is $45 per player. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.For registration information, call Karen at 569-8880. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deadline is Aug. 18.
