Trans World Airlines Inc. announced a two-for-one ticket sale on domestic and international routes during which passengers can fly with a companion at no extra charge.
To qualify, travelers must purchase their tickets by Friday. Restrictions include a Saturday night stay and holiday blackouts, during which the offer does not apply.Major airlines often match major fare sales by competitors.
All domestic routes and flights on Trans World Express, a TWA subsidiary, are included in the sale and to qualify for those flights passengers must take their trips between Sept. 13 and Jan. 31.

The two-for-one sale also includes international routes, except for trips to Switzerland. To qualify, passengers must travel between Nov. 1 and March 22.
