Garrison Keillor went on to become a popular author and Red Skelton a television star, but lest you forget their roots in radio, they are being inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame.

"The Burns and Allen Show," a comedy that bridged the eras of vaudeville and television, is also among honorees in a broadcast scheduled to air on various radio stations across the country Nov. 6. CBS Radio commentator Charles Osgood will be host."This year's class of inductees represents some of the medium's greatest legends," said Bruce DuMont, president of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago.
