The Field Museum in Chicago has opened a $4 million, 16,000-square-foot, permanent display, "DNA to Dinosaurs," that tracks the course of evolution over 3.5 billion years, from the emergence of the first single-celled life form to the age of dinosaurs. The exhibit uses 648 fossils, interactive computers and videos to explore biology, geology and the Earth's climate.
