Ruth May Andrews Hayes, 78, passed away August 12, 1994 peacefully at her home.
Born July 17, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Ada Ingleby Andrews. Married her sweetheart, Peter Roger Hayes, July 31, 1933. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Former PTA President at Jackson School. Worked for the Salt Lake School District. Held many callings in the LDS Church.
Survivors: sons; Ronald R. and wife Lee Hayes, Gary S. and wife Marsha Hayes, Doug Hayes; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Ann Goodsell, Jim Andrews, Willard Andrews, Ede Grow, Ada Madge VanLeeuwen and her dear friend, Dean Crowther.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 1994 at 12 noon in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
