William (Bill) Gedig, 86, passed away August 14, 1994, at home of natural causes.
Bill was born June 18, 1908 in Sonderborg, Denmark to Franz and Christine Jepsen Gedig. At the age of 19 he immigrated to the Salt Lake Valley. He married Fay Carlston of Fairview, Utah in July, 1940. He worked in the construction trade in the Bountiful area until he retired at age 72. Baptized as a member of the LDS Church in Denmark. Bill will be remembered by his family as a patient, hard-working, loving, honest husband, father and grandfather.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Fay, and daughter, Linda Faye, both of Salt Lake City; daughter and her husband, Christine and Terry Re' of Poulsbo, Washington; grandchildren, Travis, Eric, Brooke and Peter Re'; brother Franz Gedig of Denmark. Preceded in death by oldest grandson, Adam Re'.
Graveside service Wednesday, August 17, 1994, 10 a.m., Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 So. Highland Dr. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, Tuesday 6-8 p.m.
