SHARE DEATH: CAROLYN ANN BILLOWS LINTON

Carolyn Ann Billows Linton died of breast cancer August 14, 1994 in Salt Lake City at the age of 48.

She was born October 31, 1945 to Fred and Lenore Billows of Yerington, Nevada. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 1968, she served as a social worker in Nebraska and Nevada and eventually worked for the State of Utah as a therapist for the severely handicapped. She married Steven R. Linton in 1978 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. At the time of her death she was on the Board of Directors, and served as the Administrative Director of Alliance For Children-an organization which she founded and developed to serve the nutritional needs of tens of thousands of Utah children.She also participated with her husband on the Board of Directors of the Utah Museum of Natural History and the Advisory Board of the Mountainland RSVP.

Survived by her husband, Steven, and three children: Heather Joy, Christopher John and Trevor Forbes Linton; parents, Fred and Lenore Billows of Yerington, Nevada; brother, John Billows and sister-in-law, Susan Billows of Winnemucca. She was preceded in death by Lee Billows, a younger brother.

The family wishes to thank all the friends, relatives and Alliance employees who made Carolyn's last years so meaningful, this includes the families of the Indian Wells neighborhood, the members of the Murray 24th LDS Ward and the Provo Rotary Club.

Appreciation is also expressed to the staffs of Community Nursing, the Oncology Unit at Cottonwood Hospital, Doctors: Hogle, Litton, DiFiore, Stewart and Muse.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 18,

12 noon, at the Murray 24th Ward Chapel, 755 East Three Fountains Drive. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Thursday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
