Prison officials have captured an inmate who escaped from a work project last Thursday.
Tim Vasquez was cornered by law enforcement officials Monday about 3 a.m. at a South Salt Lake motel. He tried to escape through a window, but a Salt Lake County sheriff's K-9 unit stopped him.Vasquez, 26, was serving two one-to-15-year sentences for burglary and forgery.
