The Utah Music Festival has decided to make its final concerts of the season available free of charge.
They will be presented Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Museum of Fine Arts on the University of Utah campus and Saturday, Aug. 20, at Logan's Ellen Eccles Theatre, with an 8 p.m. starting time.The program has also been changed. In addition to the Barber "Summer Music," it now consists of Poulenc's Duo for Clarinet and Bassoon, Milhaud's Trio for Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon, Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 in G major and a Telemann trio sonata.
Performing will be flutist Alison Griffiths, oboist Laura Griffiths, clarinetist Daniel Spitzer, bassoonist John Hunt, cellist Eric Samuels Lee and Mary Hunt, horn.
