New medical staff presidents at Alta View, Cottonwood and LDS Hospitals have been announced by Intermountain Health Care officials.
They are Dr. Paul N. Clayton, an anesethesiologist at Alta View; Dr. Patricia Legant, an internal medicine specialist/oncologist at Cottonwood; and Dr. Bruce F. Sorensen, a neurological surgeon at LDS Hospital.
Presidents-elect are Dr. Russell Sorensen, Alta View; Dr. Mark Curtis, Cottonwood; and Dr. William Hamilton, LDS Hospital.
"This is an outstanding group of physicians who provide leadership and voluntarily serve the medical staff at each hospital," said Dr. Gregory Schwitzer, medical director for the three hospitals.
Clayton is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency at the same school. Legant received her medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency at the U. of U.
Sorensen received his medical degree at Temple University and completed his residency at LDS Hospital.
