Pearl Sahlberg Schultz, 92, our loving mother and grandmother, passed away August 16, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
Born September 10, 1901 in Ferron, Utah to Edumond and Hannah Sandstrum Sahlberg. Married Marlin Reed Schultz in Farmington, Utah August 8, 1924. He preceded her in death October 4, 1974. Pearl was employed at Mountain Bell for 30 years and was a member of the Mountain Bell Pioneers. A former resident of Bingham Canyon for many years, she was active in the LDS Church serving in the Primary and Relief Society.Survivors: sons, Reed Schultz and wife, Kay, Salt Lake City; Russell and wife, Carrie, Tempe, Arizona; grandchildren, William Schultz, Kellie Wood, Machele Schultz, Deirdre Andrews, Fredrick Schultz and Celine Schultz; four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, Marlin Sahlberg Schultz; one brother and four sisters.
Funeral services Saturday, August 20, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State Street, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Ephraim City Cemetery.
