Arthur Low Fotheringham, 79, of 1154 Candlewood Rd., Elgin, Illinois, 60123, formerly of Boise, Idaho, died peacefully on August 15, 1994 in Edward Hines Jr. Hospital in Hines, Illinois.

He was born February 22, 1915 in Milford, Utah, the son of Austin Levi and Mary Low Fotheringham. He was a member of the Elgin First Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a veteran of World War II. Before retirement he was a driver for Boise Urban Stages for 11 years. He also previously worked as a salesman at Gayle's Furniture Store in Boise, Idaho and at the Brooklawn Creamery in Beaver, Utah. After retirement, he was a volunteer for the Idaho Food Bank for seven years.Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Maxine, of Elgin; two sons, Michael, Hooper, Utah; and Gerald, Greer, Idaho; a daughter, Lisa Menichino, Bartlett, Illinois; two brothers, Barney, Westlake Village, California; and Maurice, Santa Ynez, California; and a sister, Marie Hughett, Huntington Beach, California; and 12 grandchildren; and many loving friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held in the Beaver LDS 3rd Ward Chapel, on Saturday, August 20, 1994 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Mountain View Cemetery, Beaver, Utah. Visitation will be on Friday, August 19th, 7-9 p.m. at Olpin Funeral Home in Beaver, Utah and Saturday at the church one hour prior.
