Ted Burnett, age 88, died August 16, 1994 in Salt Lake City.

Ted was born in Aberdean, Washington, August 7, 1906 to Elizabeth and L.H. Burnett. He grew up in Seattle and Tacoma. He attended Santa Clara University and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi and managed the varsity tennis team.He married Barbara Rosenblatt, October 1, 1940, and they resided in Salt Lake. He served as West Coast representative for several watch companies, including Gruen, Omega, and Pulsar. He was an avid golfer, and a member of the Salt Lake Country Club and Desert Island Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Tom (Harriet), New York City, N.Y.; David (Iris), Arlington, Virginia; and daughter, Lisa (Larry Cofer), Menlo Park, Calif.; four grandchildren; a brother, Lou, Chehalis, Wash.

Memorial services will be held Monday, August 22, 1994, 12 noon at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South.
