IHC Hospitals of Utah County is sponsoring a 10-week medical terminology class for those studying or working in the medical field.
Instructor June Barrus, a registered nurse, will teach participants to identify and spell words, use the medical dictionary, and how medical terms are created by using prefixes, suffixes, roots and combining forms.The class begins Sept. 28 and will be held Wednesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m. in dining rooms 1 and 2 on the hospital's third floor.
