A man was arrested Saturday outside the Murray Park swimming pool after several girls reported he had touched them inappropriately while swimming.

The man, 52, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail but was later released on bail. The case will be screened for charges Thursday with the Salt Lake County attorney's office. He faces investigation of lewdness and sexual abuse, Murray detective Sam Skaggs said.One girl, 8, told police the man put his hand down the back of her swimming suit and touched her buttocks as she swam at the pool, 5100 S. State. Three other girls, ages 10, 11 and 13, described other cases of inappropriate touching, Skaggs said. All four incidents occurred between 4 and 6 p.m. on Saturday.
