SHARE BOOK DEPARTMENTS ADDED IN 3 TOYS R US OUTLETS

As part of its continuing expansion into children's book reading retailing, Toys R Us has opened new book departments in its stores at 2210 S. 1300 East, 5968 S. State and 3560 S. 2700 West.

The new departments have carpeting, full-faced bookshelves with more than 1,200 selections, creative graphics, special lighting and a reading corner. Sale personnel will be available to answer questions about books.Among the titles available are "Madeline," "Dr. Seuss," "The Pokey Little Puppy," "Magic School Bus," "The Hardy Boys" and "Ramona the Pest."

In connection with opening the book departments, the company is continuing its children's literacy program called Geoffrey's Reading Railroad, which offers parents suggestions on how to make reading exciting and educational.
