SALT LAKERS DON'T FIT NATIONAL PROFILE

The percentages have been finalized in the recent Nabisco Foods Oreo survey.

Ranked in percentages:

Twisters Dunkers Nibblers Other

35 30 16 19

Salt Lake City was among the top 10 "Other" cities with the following stats:

Twisters Dunkers Nibblers Other

31 22 14 33

Nabisco explained that the "Other" category means the respondents liked to combine Oreo cookies with other products (such as milk). The item most often mentioned after milk was peanut butter.

Fortunately, that's as far as this scientific data probed.

YOU DIDN'T ASK EDNA, BUT SHE'S ANSWERING ANYWAY?

Q. Edna, what is chutney?

A. My child, chutney is one of those mysterious spicy Indian condiments that's a mixture of pickled fruits.

Mix a jar (Major Grey's) with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, form into a ball and roll in sliced almonds. Now, dust the almonds off yourself, you silly goose, and roll the cream cheese mixture in almonds. Serve with crackers.

It's to die for!
