"Jane Eyre: the Musical," directed by John Adams, will open Friday, Aug. 5, at the Hale Center Theater, 2801 S. Main St., South Salt Lake, where it will continue nightly except Sundays at 8 p.m. through Sept. 26, with Saturday matinees at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 and 27 and Sept. 10, 17 and 24.
Written by playwright/lyricist Patricia Youkstetter and composer Jerry Williams, the production will star Mark Gollaher and Roweena Greenwood as Edward Rochester and Jane Eyre.There will also be a special benefit matinee on Saturday, Sept. 10, at noon, for the Dystonia Foundation of Utah. The benefit honors the late Nathan Hale, HCT founder, whose grandson, Chad, has Dystonia.
