Billie Maurice Clark was born July 28, 1913 in Spokane, Washington to O. C. and Anna Swensen Clark, and passed away August 17, 1994 at home.
He graduated from high school in Wichita, Kansas and served an LDS Mission to the Central States. He served honorably in the US Army during World War II. Bill spent several years as a South Salt Lake police officer, and then retired after 23 years with the U.S. Postal Service.He was married to Irma Olsen, October 28, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away March 11, 1953.
He then married Louise Kimball Hobson, May 26, 1953.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, James D. (Annette), Robert M. (Jan), Richard K., and Joseph K. (Denise); four daughters, DeAnna (Terry) Powers, Susan (Scott) Kenney, Mary Lou (John) Gardner, Kristine (Michael) Rice; 32 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Bill was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 22, 1994 at 11 a.m. at the Valley View LDS Ward, 2125 East Evergreen Avenue, Salt Lake. Friends may call on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the ward, Monday 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
