Byron John Wipple, age 89, life-long resident of Lehi, died August 19, 1994 at the Heritage Center in American Fork of causes incident to age.
He was born March 15, 1905 in Lehi, Utah, son of Robert John and Susie Winn Whipple. Married Ada Fox, June 20, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Oct. 8, 1991From age 26-29, Byron served as a missionary in the German Mission. He attended the University of Utah. In September of 1930, he purchased Lehi Lumber Co. of which he was owner and operator for 40 years before retiring at age 65. He was a Seventies president, Sunday School Superintendent, and High Priest instructor.
Survived by one son, B. Mark Whipple, Great Falls, Montana; three daughters, Caroline W. Marble, Orem; Mrs. Ronald J. (Gloria) Bateman, Temple City, Calif.; Mrs. Randy (Janet) Murdock, Valencia, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Leath Pearson, East Pasadena, Calif.
Funeral Tuesday, Aug. 23, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, Lehi, where friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, one hour prior to services.
Burial, Lehi City Cemetery.
