Gerald Mirth Brown, 60, of Pleasant Grove, died August 19, 1994 at a Provo hospital.

He was born October 18, 1933 in Provo, Utah, a son of Cleveland Wright and Wilmirth Brown Brown. He married Marlene Glover December 7, 1951; they were later divorced.He was a member of the LDS Church living in the Pleasant Grove 16th Ward. He was presently serving as ward executive secretary. He had been employed at Bradshaw Auto Parts, Geneva Steel and had spent 10 years in Iran as a purchasing agent for a construction company.

He was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by a son and a daughter, Mrs. Kim (Jerilee) Adams, Parowan; Ronald Wallace Brown, Orem; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Glen R. Brown, Provo. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Services will be Monday, at 11 a.m, at the Pleasant Grove 16th Ward, 200 North 400 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South at 300 East, Pleasant Grove or Monday at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
