The north end of Emma Matilda Lake Trail and the surrounding area in Grand Teton National Park, where a Park City jogger was severely injured by a grizzly bear Aug. 14, will remain closed until at least Tuesday.

Linda Olson, public information officer for the park, said Thursday that decision was made after park rangers checked the area where the bear attacked Michael A. Dunn, 36. Rangers found signs of bear activity around a large berry patch.Rangers will check Tuesday morning for signs of bears. At that time a decision will be made whether the trail and the surrounding area will be closed to hikers and joggers for additional time, Olson said.
