SHARE DEATH: LENORE F. MEASOM

Lenore Francis Meason, 92, passed away Friday, August 19, 1994 in Spanish Fork, Utah.

She was born in Lake Shore, Utah, November 2, 1901 the tenth child of Joseph and Annie Gardner Francis. She married Jennings Measom on December 20, 1922, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away in 1969. They were the parents of seven children. She spent her entire life in Lake Shore in service to her family, the church and the community. She loved music and together with her sister, Verda, sang at many funerals, and social functions. She loved serving and cooking and taught through example the value of hard work and service to others. She served in many church capacities, and worked in the Provo Temple for many years.She is survived by two sons and four daughters; Job (Louise) Measom, Salem; Kent (Connie) Measom, Pleasant Grove; Francis (Glade) Stone, Spanish Fork; Lorna (Harry) Davis, Salem; June (Lynn) Houtz, Mapleton; Dee Ann (Sterling) Swenson, Spanish Fork; two sisters; Verda Tuckett, and Rosie Anderson, both of Lake Shore; 34 grandchildren; and many great and great-great-grandchildren; one son, Rex J. Measom preceded her in death.

Services will be Tuesday, August 23, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Shore Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main Street, Spanish Fork on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. or Tuesday at the Lake Shore Ward relief society room one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
