Charles Payne, 6, of Amherst, N.Y., looks over G.I. Joe dolls at the Collectors Convention aboard the USS Intrepid in New York Saturday. The convention commemorated the plastic private's 30th anniversary, and among the items bringing top prices at the auction were a 1964 fighter pilot doll for $5,750, a dress uniform action figure for $1,150 and a Japanese Imperial soldier for $1,092. More than 400 fans packed the sale room, and the 191 lots brought in $50,117.
