SHARE DEATH: LEONA INGA SKEEM JEFFERY

Leona Inga Skeem Jeffery, age 81, of Delta, Utah died August 20, 1994 in Provo, at the home of her son after a long illness.

Born November 9, 1912 in Oasis, Utah, a daughter of Marcus and Betsy Jensen Skeem. She married Eldro E. Jeffery, June 5, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 18, 1986. She taught school in Lynndyl and Delta. She was a clerk at the Quality Market Hardware and the Ben Franklin Variety Store in Delta. Active member of the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Relief Society. She and her husband were temple workers in the Provo and Manti Temples for seven years. Leona was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.Survived by three sons and two daugthers; Larry S. (Raili); Duane E. (Kaye), both Provo; David M. (June), LaVerkin; Mrs. Jack (Gayla) Erickson, West Jordan; Mrs. Max (Janet) Tanner, Las Vegas, Nevada; 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph C. and Arlo J., both Oasis; sister, Mrs. Russell (Elaine) Knight, Delta. Preceded in death by three infant children, Doyle, Barry and Linda.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., in the Delta Fourth Ward. Friends may call at the Nickle Mortuary Wednesday, 7 to 8 p.m., and at the church Thursday 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Delta Cemetery under the direction of the Nickle Mortuary.
