The Uinta National Forest is seeking low-income senior citizens to work under the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

This program provides meaningful part-time employment and training opportunities for economically disadvantaged individuals through the Forest Service.Those enrolled in the program can work a maximum of 1,300 hours per year or 20 hours per week. Employment opportunities that are available include field work as well as office work.

Applicants must be 55 years old or older. They can make no more than 25 percent above the current poverty level guidelines. This ranges from $8,515 for a family size of one up to $20,415 for a five-member family.
