The Seattle Seahawks have no desire to leave their hometown to play the 1994 season in Oakland, said team president David Behring.
"We have had a very loyal fan base for 18 years," Behring said Wednesday. "We have been very happy playing football in the Kingdome during that time. Our home is in Seattle. That's where we want to play football."Behring's comments came a day after published reports quoted Oakland Coliseum President George Vukasin as saying he had offered the stadium to the Seahawks until the Kingdome is repaired.
