Auditions for StageRight TheatreCompany's production of "Twelve Angry Jurors" will be held Wednesday, Aug. 31, and Thursday, Sept. 1, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the Bountiful Public Library, 725 S. Main.

All 13 roles - 12 jurors and one court security officer - are open for both men and women in this '90s version of Reginald Rose's "Twelve Angry Men."The play began as an acclaimed made-for-television drama in the mid-'50s and became a highly acclaimed big-screen film in 1957 starring Henry Fonda as the one, hold-out juror sounding the voice of reason as a jury leans toward a quick-and-dirty verdict against a young boy on trial for murder.

Jansen Davis will direct StageRight's version, which will have a mixed jury rather than all men.

The production is scheduled to run Oct. 1-22 (a change from previous announcements).

Auditioners will be asked to read from a prepared audition piece. An audition packet can be picked up in advance from the StageRight office at 207 E. 400 North, Bountiful. For further information, call 292-5193.
