Regarding the article on putting nuclear dumps near Indian property (Deseret News, Aug. 20): We feel the state should intervene on the Indians' behalf.
We need to put ourselves in the Indians' moccasins. Would we want to trade them places?The white man doesn't want the nuclear waste dumps near him. Then why are we exposing the Indians to something that we don't want?
