Glen Reese Litchfield, loving husband, father and brother, joined his Father-in-Heaven, August 24, 1994.
Born July 5, 1932 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada to Reid Vernal and Letitia Price Litchfield. Married Jean Marie Anderson September 22, 1954 in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple. He was very devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. Retired from Uniroyal/Goodrich Tire Company after 33 years of service. He served an LDS mission to the Samoan Islands from 1951-54. A devoted church member, he served in many capacities throughout his life. Especially rewarding to him was his service as bishop of the Parkview/21st Wards in San Jose, California. Glen will be deeply missed by friends and family.He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jean; four daughters, Lore and Ronald Lakey, Alta Loma, Calif.; Valerie Litchfield, Salt Lake City; Julee and Jared Wilson, Pasadena, Calif.; Amy Litchfield, San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren, Nathan, Janae, and Renee Lakey, Eric Bowers and Aubree Wilson; five sisters and one brother, Marie Watson, Lila Gedlaman, Elaine Oler, Carol Shaw, Joy Fairbanks, and Robert Litchfield.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 29, at 11 a.m. in the Sharon Park Second Ward Chapel, 225 East 200 North, Orem. Friends and family may call Sunday, August 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 600 East 800 North, Orem, and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the ward chapel prior to the services. Interment: Orem City Cemetery.
