Elda Gillman Walker, age 85, passed away August 28, 1994.

Born October 13, 1908 in Lindon, Utah to James William and Estella Walker Gillman. Married Frank K Walker November 17, 1930. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death September 6, 1978.Elda was a faithful member of the LDS Church. She held many ward and stake positions. Elda worked in the Provo Temple. She also worked for the Alpine School District. Elda like to stay busy, either in her home or outside in her beautiful yard. She enjoyed and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and two sons, Mrs. James (Jeanelle) Chesnut, American Fork; Glade (Rosemary) Walker, Boise, Idaho; Ronald (Vera Dean) Walker, Lindon; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Clark (Rhea) Conder, Bishop, California; Mrs. Sterling (LaRue) Burningham, Orem; Donna Chilton, Lehi; Mrs. Eleroy (Beth) West, Pleasant Grove; four brothers, Wendell (Anna Beth) Gillman, Fairbanks, Alaska; Dean (Nona) Gillman, Orem; Glade (Waldine) Gillman, Orem; Norman (Gwen) Gillman, Pleasant Grove.

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, at 11 a.m. in the Pleasant Grove 2nd Ward, 800 No. 100 West. Friends and family may call at the Olpin Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Tuesday, August 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church one hour prior to services. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
