Wayne Rich Morgan, 75, died July 29, 1994 in Salt Lake City of cancer.
Born June 24, 1919 in Liberty, Bear Lake, Idaho to John S. and Ethel Rich Morgan. Married Cleona (Toni) Decker, October 5, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. Graduated from USU in engineering where he served as student body president. Earned Master's Degree in Marketing at BYU and did post-graduate work at the University of Chicago.Served in World War II as a commissioned officer in U.S. Navy and in Reserves as Lt. Commander. Taught at the U of U, later owned a plumbing and heating contracting business in Farmington, New Mexico. Became a stockbroker with Goodbody, and worked as an engineer at Hill Air Force Base for 23 years.
Active in the LDS Church and served a mission with his wife to the Connecticut-Hartford Mission.
Survived by his wife, and four children, Steven, Melodie (Mrs. Leon Waldron), Cinda, Nathan; and ten grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters and two brothers, Beulah (Mrs. Fred Somers), Clea (Mrs. Alma Burton), Mrs. Arlene Smart, Elmo R., and Dee R.
Funeral services Friday, August 5, 12 noon, Salt Lake 14th Ward, 142 West 200 North, with viewing from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in Liberty, Idaho, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
