SHARE GET DIRTY AND HELP THE COMMUNITY BY PLAYING MUD VOLLEYBALL SATURDAY

Utah County residents are invited to get down and dirty at the second annual Mud Volleyball Tournament, Saturday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Orem Community Hospital, 331 N. 400 West.

The entry fee is a $100 donation per team, or $150 if the team wants T-shirts. Additional shirts will be available for $5 each.Proceeds from the event will be donated to nine local charities and community service organizations, including the Food and Shelter Coalition, the Center for Women and Children in Crisis, Recreation for All Handicapped, Sub for Santa, Adopt-A-Trail, Adopt-A-School, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society and the Bone Marrow Drive.

Anyone, whether child or adult, is invited to participate in the event. The six-person co-ed teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament. Games will be played to 15 points, and prizes will be given to the winners.

Any group wishing to participate in the tournament should contact Utah Valley Regional Medical Center at 371-7270. The tournament will be limited to the first 32 teams.
