SHARE N. LAYTON PRINCIPAL WINS STATE HONOR FOR ’94

Scott Greenwell, the principal at North Layton Junior High School, has been named the

1994 Secondary Principal of the Year by the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals.He will join other winners from across the nation in Washington, D.C., for a symposium to discuss key issues facing schools.

He also will get free use of a new Ford Taurus from Henry S. Day Ford during his year as principal of the year.

The award recognizes Green-well's efforts to make a year-round schedule work smoothly, upgrade technology through community donations, and improve the school's atmosphere with stricter dress and behavior guidelines as well as recognition programs for positive behavior.
