Dan Graves and Roxanne Toly, both of Park City, earned wins in the Pro Men's and Expert Women's events at the Gorilla Bicycle Rustler Run mountain bike race on Sunday, August 28.

Graves, riding for Trek, moved into the lead halfway up the climb at Albion Basin at the Alta Ski Resort on the first of two laps and never looked back. Toly benefited from a flat to Robynn Masters at the top of the first lap to take the lead in the Expert Women's race. Toly herself flatted with one mile to go but chose to continue and rode across the finish just ahead of Jalayne Edward.Chris Fox captured the Expert Senior Men's race followed by Allan Benson and John Barth. Jeff Louder won the Expert Junior Men's race ahead of Chris Lindberg. Joe Rimensberger also benefited from a flat tire to then leader Ed Chauner in the Expert Veteran Men's race. Rimensberger held on to the lead over Ron Lindley and Blayne Corwin.

Alta's Rustler Run is part of the Cannondale Cup Fat Tire Series. The series is coming to a close on Labor Day weekend with races in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and the season finale at Deer Valley on Labor Day, Monday, September 5.
