If you own a 1988 Chrysler, chances are your car is emitting too much carbon monoxide.

The excessive CO emissions were discovered by Colorado health officials, who notified the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA has persuaded Chrysler to voluntarily recall the 1988 cars sold in high-altitude areas.Models affected are the Plymouth Horizon, Caravell, Sundance and Reliant; Dodge Omni, Shadow, Aries, 600 and Lancer; and Chrysler LeBaron Sedan and LeBaron GTS.

Any Chrysler dealer can repair the vehicles at no cost.
