Our beloved mother and grandmother, Edna Mary Foster Halvorsen Jacobson, 87, returned home August 30, 1994.
She was born June 7, 1907 to John Mabey Foster and Mary Catherine King Foster. Married Joseph L. Halvorsen October 22, 1924; divorced, 1953. Married Murray Jacobson June, 1958. Received much joy from her many years of service in LDS Relief Society and Primary. She was predeceased by four brothers, one sister and three children.Survived by sons, Jack L. Halvorsen, wife, MarGene, Salt Lake City; Ronald J. Halvorsen, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughters, Donna J. Halvorsen, Darlene Lovato, husband, Richard, and RaNae Adamson, all Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, 12 noon, September 1, 1994, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Wednesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
