Norma Rae Dahlgren, 63, died August 4, 1994 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George.

She was born October 21, 1930 in American Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Archie Belle and Anne Jane Pease Weatherford. She married Gilbert Thomas Grose May 18, 1948; their marriage was solemnized June, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple. She married Marion Jack Dahlgren June 3, 1982 in the Salt Lake Temple.Norma attended school in Rockland, Idaho. She received her bachelors degree in 1969 from the University of Utah. She taught school for 22 years. After retiring from Fox Hills Elementary School in 1991, she moved to St. George, Utah.

She loved Relief Society. She was in the Relief Soceity presidency at the time of her passing. She had a great love for everyone she came in contact with. She served a stake mission in St. George Dixie Downs Stake.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons and two daughters, Kenneth E. Grose, Dingle, Idaho; Matthew Clark Grose, St. Geroge; Pamela G. Bailey, Salt Lake City, and Patricia Kaye Anderson, West Valley City; six stepchildren, Georgeanna F. Coleman and Christine M. Gunn, Chino, Calif.; Sharron L. Martin, Calabasas, Calif.; Cythia A. Dahlgren, Magna; David B. Dalhgren, Logan; Russell A. Dalhgren, Salt Lake City; two brothers and three sisters, Virgil Weatherford, Woodland Hills, Calif.; Jerry Weatherford, Statesboro, Georgia; Jessie Thornton, and Mae Canfield, American Falls, Idaho; Ruby Dalley, Santa Clara, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert and a daughter, Norma Rae Grose.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 6, 1994 at 6 p.m. in the Dixie Downs 3rd Ward chapel, where friends may call one hour prior.

A funeral service will be held Monday, 12 noon, at the Hunter LDS 31st Ward, 4322 South 5400 West, Salt Lake City. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, SLC, or one hour prior to services at the 31st Ward. Interment will be in the Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery.
