Lois Winifred Swenson Ray, age 79, our loving mom and grandmother, passed away August 6, 1994 following a lingering illness.
Born November 23, 1914 in Riverton, Utah to Niels Clifford and Ella Petersen Swenson. Married Lawrence L. Ray in Riverton, Utah on June 27, 1934. Their marriage was solemnized in the Jordan River LDS Temple. He preceded her in death January 11, 1985. Lois was active in the Midvale Senior Citizens, DUP, Community Club and the Rebekahs. She also served on many planning committees for Midvale City Corporation.Survivors: son, Larry and wife, Lisa, Sandy, Utah; grandchildren, Pirote and Laura Anne; brother, Warren Swenson, Chandler, Arizona.
Funeral services Tuesday August 9, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvale 5th LDS Ward Chapel 425 Jackson St. Friends may call at the Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:45-10:45. Interment, Riverton City Cemetery.
