Virgil Okerlund White, 79, died Aug. 5, 1994 at his Salt Lake City home.
Born, Lyman Utah, 1915 a son of Hyrum Jacob and Mary Okerlund White. He was a Veteran U.S. Army having served in World War II. Virgil was an independent businessman and retired manager of grain procurement for Intermountain Farmers Assoc. He had a love for the outdoors and animals.Survived in death by his wife, Karthryn Reid White, married, 1946 and later solomnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Also survived by son, Roger Reid White; daughters, Peggy Jo Bowen and Jody W. Farley; nine grandchildren; sisters: Leah Chappell, LaRue Guyman, Rula McKinley; brothers; Hryum Kim White, Phil White. Preceded in death by his brother Orin White and sister Katie Vandyke.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 9, 1994, 1:00 p.m. Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call, Monday 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday the hour prior to services.
Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
