SHARE RAPTORS HOLD OFF BRAVES’ RALLY, 6-5

The Ogden Raptors pulled to within five games of Southern Division leader Helena with a 6-5 Pioneer League win over Idaho Falls Sunday night.

The Raptors cruised to a 5-0 lead in the fifth inning and looked to be on the verge of a rout when the Braves scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth and added another in the sixth to knot the score.Ogden scored once more in the seventh to hold off the Idaho Falls rally.

David Bingham and Chris Simmons led the Raptors with two RBIs each while Mike Carrig had three hits.

The Raptors next take on Helena in a two-game series, then come back home for an exhibition against the all-female Silver Bullets at Serge B. Simmons Field Wednesday.
