Matt Rasmussen pitched a four-hitter and Matt Anderson knocked a home run, leading the Utah Royals past the Kansas City Chiefs 7-1 in the first game of the national AAU 10-and-under baseball tournament Sunday in Kansas City, Mo.
The Royals, the defending national AAU champions from Sandy, also beat Cincinnati, Ohio, 12-2, Sunday. Brett Hendrix led the Utah team with 3 RBI.The Royals were scheduled to play two games against teams from Indiana today.
