Spanish Fork pro Roy Christensen took second at the New Mexico Open Sunday.
Christensen, who shot a 1-over-par 73 Sunday to finish at 4-under 212, won $8,750 for his second-place finish.American Fork's Kim Thompson had entered the final round leading the tournament by one stroke, but shot a 75 Sunday to drop into the 10-way third-place tie. Mountain View golf course pro Milan Swilor also tied for third. They both earned $2,690.
